Directions to the Brisbane Institute of Art

The BIA studios and the Metcalfe Gallery are located in suburban parkland in Windsor at 41 Grafton Street, Windsor QLD 4030, seven minutes drive north of the city. There is ample car parking and regular public transport by bus or train.

• From the Lutwyche Road heading south turn left into Bonython St. Then first right into Grafton St.

• There are two rail stations close to the BIA.

  Windsor station is on the red Ferny Grove line and Beenleigh Lines.

  Albion station is on the following lines.

  • Purple Doomben line
  • Yellow Airport and Gold Coast line
  • Dark blue Shorncliffe and Cleveland lines
  • Blue Redcliffe Peninsula and Springfield line
  • Green Caboolture/Sunshine Coast and Ipswich/Rosewood lines

• There is a large car park at the back of the BIA with access via two entrances, one on either side of the building from Grafton St.
