Painting 1 & 2 (Svetlana Trefilova)
Acrylic paints (all colours that you have, plus black and white). If you do not already have paint – Chromacryl acrylic paint tubes or Reeves paints: Warm red, Cool red, Warm yellow, Cool yellow, Warm blue, Cool blue; Gloss acrylic medium; 300GSM paper (watercolour or mixed media, NOT canvas paper), 1 canvases, deep edges (small/medium sizes), 1 canvas boards; Visual diary; 2B pencil; A variety of flat brushes; A palette or white disposable plastic plates; Palette knife; Spray bottle; Hair dryer; Tissue or paper towel; Plastic container for water.
Watercolour for Beginners (Svetlana Trefilova)

Advanced Watercolour (Svetlana Trefilova)
Watercolour paints (single tubes or a basic set, Windsor & Newton/Art Spectrum); White and dark blue or dark green acrylic paint; Black ink, pen and nib; Small box of oil crayons; A few watercolour brushes of different sizes and shapes; A pad or single sheets of 300 gsm watercolour paper, not Mont Marte paper; Masking liquid; Visual diary; 2B pencil and eraser; Mixing palette and water container; Masking tape; A drawing board or any other hard board; Tissue or paper; towel; Hair dryer; Spray bottle with a very fine mist.

Expressive Water-Media (Mia Clark)
Tubes of watercolour (Cotman or Art Spectrum)-not cheap Montmartre or Aldi: indigo, ultramarine or cobalt blue, cerulean blue, alizarin and cadmium (or spectrum ) red, yellow ochre, lemon yellow, cadmium yellow, burnt sienna, black; White gouache; 300gsm watercolour pad (not Montmartre or Aldi); Brushes ...round ( fine and medium)-Montmartre sets are fine for brushes, … & flat (fine, medium, large); A colour wheel; X2 3mm mdf boards and blue masking tape ....Bunning; 4b pencil and kneadable eraser; Palette (wells big enough for your biggest brush); X2 water containers; Masking fluid; pipette or eye dropper; small atomiser spray bottle (cheap from hairdressing salons); Pocket packet of tissues; Salt.

A3 sketchbook, graphite pencils [2B and 6B], permanent markers [fine and medium], faber castell kneadable eraser, normal eraser, sharpener, soft faber castell charcoal pencil.
Crossing the Line from Drawing to Painting (Nicole Sylvestre)
Lots of paper A4 and A3 cartridge quality, a few A4, A3 sheets of heavier, watercolour quality. Soft pencils (2B, 4B or 6B), biros, markers, erasers, masking tape, drawing inks (black and 2 other colours) plain household candle.
Portraiture and the Human Figure (Mia Clark)
Beginners: A3 pad of cartridge paper; 2B and 6 B graphite pencils; Faber Castell kneadable eraser; paper blender; A4 display folder. Continuing students: bring a project start on and medium of their choice.
Introductory Drawing (Mia Clark)
2B, 4B, 6B pencils; a grey Faber Castel kneadable eraser; sharpener; ruler; small paper blender [torchon]; A4 display folder; A3 cartridge paper pad (make sure the paper doesn't feel shiny or too smooth, a bit of tooth is best); masking tape and/or bulldog clips; we will discuss additional materials during our first class.
Introductory Drawing (Glen Skien)
For the first lesson a basic list of materials will include: A2 Cartridge Drawing Paper /8 sheets (at least 110gsm. This will be the standard paper required for each class); Butchers paper or Newsprint/ 6 sheets; Graphite Pencils: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B; Staedtler Eraser (White Hard edge) Karat soft eraser; Charcoal: Box of Willow Charcoal sticks or Vine Charcoal (6sticks), 1 Compressed charcoal pencil, 1 Soft charcoal pencil,; Compressed charcoal sticks (at least 3 sticks); Two paper Stumps or blenders: (a thick and a thin size); Stanley knife, Bull dog clips, masking tape; 30cm Wooden ruler; Studio journal for notes/sketching.
Drawing towards Painting (Glen Skien)
A selection of dry drawing materials (ie charcoal, pencils, crayons, pastels), A3 cartridge paper, A3 acrylic painting paper, Acrylic paints: warm and cool red, yellow and blue, white paint, Impasto gel, selection of brushes. Palette with Wells, water container, paint cloth or paper towel.
Collage: Ideas and Images (Glen Skien)
Collage resource materials that may include old magazines, discarded books, maps etc.; Acid free PVA glue (Many acrylic painting binders and mediums are good for gluing); Scissors or Stencil knife; Cutting board ; Masking tape; Range of brushes; Drawing materials: HB, 2B, 6B pencils; Paper: A3 or A4 Cartridge, A3 or A4 size smooth hot pressed 280/300gsm paper.
How to Make Better Art and Dazzle Your Friends (Dr Maree Cunnington)
For Week 1 you will need acid-free 300gsm A3 paper; mark-making tools and medium, your choice (pens, pencils, brushes, rollers, paint, ink etc); A4 Visual Diary; Scissors; Craft Knife; Glue; and three (3) printed images (not your own work).

Notebook and pencil, wear closed-in shoes, avoid flowing and loose garments, and long hair is to be tied up.

Visual diary & pen; pencil; wear closed-in shoes and old clothes; your imagination.
Introduction to Enamelling (Catherine Large) OR Experimental (Advanced) Enamelling (Catherine Large)
Notebook, pencil, two round synthetic paint brushes (sizes 0 and 2/0), and a P2 or KN95 face mask for use when sifting enamels. Fully closed-in shoes must be worn and long hair must be tied up. Avoid flowing, loose clothing and bring an apron to protect your clothes. Bring a mug for tea or coffee.
Limited supplies of copper, fine silver and vitreous enamels are provided. Students wishing to work with silver may need to purchase additional materials throughout the course.
Findings for Jewellery (Catherine Large) OR Jewellery Fundamentals (Catherine Large)

Introductory Printmaking (David Nixon)
The following items are available from art supplies stores. Ring in advance to inquire what is available. Provide two or more dry point Mylar (plastic) plates (15cmx10cm or larger) for the first class of monoprinting, and for drypoint later in the semester. Provide a drypoint etching needle. Provide linoleum plates (15cmx15cm or larger) and a set of Speedball linoleum cutting tools. Japanese veneer boards and Magnolia woodplates are optional. Provide printmaking paper (240GSM or heavier), such as Canson edition all-purpose printmaking paper, Fabriano Tiepolo, BFK Rives, Arches Vellum, Stonehenge or Hahnumuhle. Also provide cutting blade and mat (optional); scissors; rags; rubber or disposable gloves; sketch book and basic drawing materials. Please wear closed in shoes, and clothes or apron to suit working with provided oil-based inks.
Art for Children Term 3 (Deborah Cavallaro &/or Berenice Anzellotti)
Water container (eg. large yoghurt container); art shirt or apron, please bring morning or afternoon snacks, a mug or water bottle for drinking water, and wear an apron; all other materials provided.
Art for High School Students Term 3 (Berenice Anzellotti)
Bring an art journal/sketch book & pen/pencil, wear old clothes, a mug or water bottle for drinking water and snacks if desired; all other materials provided.
